We decided on a house! After many hours of searching at house on the internet and looking at houses in person, we found the perfect one. We decided to build in Lehi. I would show a picture, but obviously it is an empty lot filled with dirt right now. We are really excited. I don't know about other people, but I have a tendency to watch things on TV that have to do with my life at the moment. When I was pregnant, I would watch A Baby Story all the time and now that I am buying a house I have been watching HGTV a lot. Who would have though that a station that shows house centered programs 24 hrs/day would be so interesting? I have been inspired to design my house "on a dime" and have many ideas for lots of things I want to do. We'll see how crafty I am...or maybe we'll see how crafty I am not!
Also, the weather has been great and we have loved taking Kaden out. We tried the swing last fall, but he was still pretty tipsy. Now he's all grown up and loves the swing.

We don't have to beg Kaden to smile fot the camera. As soon as I hold the camera up he shoots me a big, cheesy grin. I love it!

Congrats on finding a house...or at least finding a lot to build on! That will be so fun to get a nice new house! I loved my last house but it's been so nice to live in a new house now, it feels cleaner to me. The pictures of Kaden are so cute! Hopefully we'll get to get together this weekend with Kara, let me know if next Saturday works for you!
That's so exciting! It'll be really cool to be in on the design with the builder. You're like real grown-ups now :)

I LOVED watching Baby Story and Bringing Home Baby when I was pregnant! Ha..Ha.. I thought I was the only one. Congrats on your new home! I am jealous!!
Yeah, your own home! Katy you've always had such a cute style, your home is going to be so great. I love HGTV. Have you already been able to pick and choose all your colors and options? Ok, and that baby of yours is just as cute as can be isn't he. I'm glad to see everything is going well, keep me posted as I know you will.

Congrats...just make sure you use that motivation you have now to make all the crafty stuff your heart desires, before you run out of it. I made 1/2 of the drapes in our living room and it was another 1.5 years before I finished the other half!!! So sad!! Yikes!
Congrats! I'm so excited for you. I too was addicted to HGTV, and was all excited to try out the many neat things I'd see. I must say that it was exciting to finally be able to paint after being in apartments forever! Good luck, and Kaden looks so big!

When we were up there he was so cute and smiley (is that even a word). After we went to Craig And Erin's house and Craig said that he just stops smiling after takes one look at him.

AHHH that is so great, i'm jealous- we are far away from that!! I just took Blake on the swings awhile ago and it was so fun. Your little boy looks like he is having a fun time- what a cutie. Now all we need is some good weather!!
