The Big Move

We made the big leap and bought our first home last Wednesday. It was really exciting and a little stressful as well. It has been quite the busy week moving all of our stuff and trying to get organized. It has been really fun though. We like our new neighborhood so far. There are kids everywhere, so that is nice. We will be in a blogging slump for a few weeks until we are able to get the internet installed, so come visit us in person. We would love to see you all!

Rob's Graduation!

Rob graduated from Utah State last Saturday. I am so proud of him. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business. (WARNING! Post may become too sappy for some bloggers! Continue reading at own risk!) Rob made a lot of sacrafices with his education so that I could do the dietetics program and I am sooo grateful that he did that for me. He switched to distance education classes in SLC when I had to complete my dietetic internship in SLC and Ogden. He continued with distance education classes when we moved to Orem for my job. He would work all day and then have to drive to either SLC or Nephi for 3-4 hour classes at night. I know how hard it was for him and am so proud that he was able to finish. Great work Rob!!!

Kaden was so good. He slept through the commencement in the morning and then took another nap during the College of Business ceremony as well. It boggles my mind that when he is napping at home and I sneeze he wakes up. But during the graduation people are clapping, shouting, and whistling and he slept sound as can be.

Here are some pics of the joyous event!

This is Kaden's Utah State outfit. We have had it since I was pregnant in anticipation of this event. It was sooo fun to have him get to wear it.

For the past month I have been telling Rob I didn't have him a graduation present. He was so surprised when I brought out a box with tickets to the Atlanta Braves vs. Colorado Rockies game in Denver. I am so tricky!
P.S. Well when I was up in Logan I decided to try out my design skills. I made a padded headboard with the help of Rob's parents. Thanks guys!
