We have been doing some house hunting lately. It has been pretty fun seeing what is out there, but it is a little overwhelming as well. It is a tough decision to buy a house. I don't know how we are ever going to decide on one. So far there are good and bad things about all the houses we've seen. I guess we just need to keep looking.

Kaden has been trying to cut his front bottom teeth for what seems like forever. He's had these red little bumps, that cause him to cry when they are touched, for weeks. Finally on Saturday he was able to cut one of them. Teething is so sad for babies. He has been guarding his mouth and won't let me in to take a picture yet...more to come.

He got a new high chair a few days ago. It is so much easier to feed him. I have been feeding him in a bouncy seat thus far, and he finally was getting too wild an bouncy causing food to get everywhere. He is much happier in his seat.

This time of year makes me a little frustrated. The weather teases you with warmth, then it snows. It gets a little bit warmer, then it rains. I can't wait until coat weather is over. I am antsy to be outside again and have the crud out of the air.
Here are a few pics of Kaden's photo shoot. I didn't work today and we had a great time. It was hard to get pictures that weren't blurry because he wouldn't stop moving!

New Toy

I had to buy a new vacuum the other day. When I was using the old vacuum it started smoking and smelling horrible. This behavior was not new to me as it happened about every other month. I figured I just needed a new belt. When I took the vacuum apart I saw that the cylinder brush that spins had melted in one spot and all the plastic had clumped up into a ball. It looked very un-fixable. I was actually glad because that vacuum had been nothing but trouble since I got it. It serves me right because when I bought it I went to Wal-Mart, found the vacuum isle, and bought the cheapest one they had (college student = no $). Here is my new vacuum. It works like a charm. It is bagless so you you can actually see what you are sucking up. After I vacuumed my house when I first brought it home, I was disgusted!!! There was nearly 2-3 cups of dirt/dust/hair/yucky stuff that I sucked up. So, I guess my old vacuum didn't work. Good thing I have been pushing it around for the past 3 years.
While I was vacuuming Kaden was playing on my bed. You can see how excited he was about the new vacuum. A neighbor starting their car outside can wake him up, but me vacuuming in the same room as him puts him right to sleep. Babies are so crazy.
