Kaden is 1 month old!
Kaden turned 1 month old on Wednesday. He is growing so much. He has already grown out of the newborn clothes and is wearing 0-3 month clothes. I look at his little face and I feel like he looks more grown up every day. He is starting to notice that Rob and I exist. Up to this point Kaden was not really aware of his surroundings and pretty much just wanted to sleep all of the time. Now he is starting to get a little personality. Rob was trying to rub his face and Kaden kept pushing his hand away. It was so cute that he could express he didn't like that. Having my baby grow up is so exciting, but at the same time it is the worst thing in the world. It makes me so sad to think that eventually he won't be a baby anymore.
Rob helped Kaden welcome in football season with a little pre-season 49ers game and some hotdogs on the grill. Don't my boys look cute in their matching outfits.
Rob and I were really bored a few days ago and went for a drive up Immigration Canyon. It was really pretty and Kaden usually sleeps whenever he is in the car, so it was a relaxing drive. The view was great. I felt like I could see forever.
After Rob goes to work in the morning, Kaden takes Rob's spot in the bed. I try really hard to make Kaden sleep in his crib at night but in the morning I just love to cuddle with him.
Last weekend my family took my brother Matt up to Utah State. I am super proud of him. Good Luck Matt!

First Bath
We were so excited when Kaden's umbilical cord fell off so we could give him his first real bath (are we first time parents or what!). He hasn't been too thrilled about sponge baths up to this point, but he loved the real bath. We had a hard time keeping him awake in that warm water. He was a little fussy when it came time for the washing, but he was happy again when we washed his hair. He just sat back and relaxed while I scrubbed his little head.

Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary
August 8th was our 5th wedding anniversary. Rob got me these beautiful flowers and we went to dinner at Magleby's Oyster Bar and Grill. Rob is so cute! I can always count on him to buy me the most beautiful flowers on special occasions! I can't beleive how much has happened over the last 5 years. We have lived in 5 different apartments (not to mention living with Rob's brother, Rob's parents, and my Grandma during the semester I was an intern). We have lived in St. George, Logan, and Orem. I graduated college, and Rob will graduate in the Spring. I have had 6 jobs and Rob has had 4 jobs (got to love those part time college jobs!). And best of all, we had our first child. Overall it has been a fun and ever-changing 5 years. We look forward to MANY MANY more!

The Story of Kaden's Arrival
I want to share the the story of Kaden's arrival to the world. On Saturday, July 26, Rob and I woke up bright and early at 6:00 am to move into a new appartment. (We obviously were not too excited to move so close to the baby's due date, but we had no choice because the landlords only allow 12 month leases and Rob and I did not want to live there for another full twelve months). We spent the day moving and all day long I kept complaining about how bad my back was hurting. I was trying not to over-do-it, but when you are trying to move, it is hard! By night time I was having some contractions, but I had been having them all week long so I didn't think anything was going to happen. Rob and I crawled in bed in our new appartment, watched a movie, then turned off the lights. It was about 11:15 pm and just as I was starting to fall asleep after the longest day ever... my water broke. The first thing that entered my mind was, "Not tonight...I am soooo tired!" Rob jumped out of bed, got dressed, and grabbed my overnight bag. Then we headed down to the hospital. We were both very nervous, but excited as well. Luckily, after we got settled into the hospital room, and I got some nice drugs, we were able to get some sleep until about 4:00am. At that point, the "fun" started, and on Sunday morning at 9:22am Kaden Robert Bodily made his appearance to the world. It amazing to look at my little baby and feel so much love. I just look at his little face and think that he is the most beautiful little person I have ever seen. I am probably a little bias since I am his mamma. Rob and I have spent the week bonding with our little baby, and trying to get settled into our new apartment. Overall, it has been a crazy week!
