Adventures at Grandparents House

We sent Kaden to Rob's parents house for a few days while Rob and I both had to work. He has been having a blast riding the lawn mower and working in the garden. Thanks Ed and Sharron for taking good care of our little guy!

We headed up to the zoo last week. Kaden had a blast.

Here are a few of Kadens favorite things right now.....

Powdered donuts...actually any donut will do.

Wheel barrow rides.

Cookie Monster and Elmo.

Wearing mom and dad's shoes.

Kaden is also talking a lot. Some of the cute things he says are:

" I no know" = I don't know

"pips" = chips

"wa wa" = water

"nuggle" = snuggle

"pipo" = pillow

One last thought...

We spents some time in Logan for a family reuinion. Here is Kaden having fun with his cousing Boston.

"No, No."

I planted an amarylis bulb in a pot and have been waiting patiently for it to bloom. It finally developed a beautiful, big, pink and white flower about 1 week ago. There was another blossom that was ready to open up within the next 1-2 days.I was so excited.
I have been telling Kaden not to touch the flower multiple times each day and every time he walks by it he says, "No, No."
Well last night Kaden brought me the blossom that hadn't quite opened up yet and said, "No, No." I about kicked him in the pants.
I bet he WANTED to pick the big pretty open blossom, but chickened out and picked the unopened blossom instead. That naughtly little stinker!

Aquarium Fun

We took Kaden to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was pretty fun. We got to pet sting rays. Kaden loved it. His shirt was soaked by the end.

He is laughing in this last picture. He thought it was sooo funny to touch them.

Kaden decided to give all the panguin posters kisses. I though it was cute. Rob had another opinion :)

It is a pretty fun place to take kids. Rob and I were exhausted by the time we left. We had to chase Kaden around the entire time we were there. He was acting like he had never left his house before. He's so wild!

I Can Grow Stuff. YEA!!!!!

We Planted a bunch of tulip bulbs last Halloween and they are finally showing their pretty faces.

Rob took Kaden for a ride in his 1968 Charger yesterday. Kaden loves playing in that car in our garage, but liked riding in it even more. There is a big M&M in the back that has been in there for years and Kaden thinks it is the funniest thing ever.

Baby Animal Days in Logan

We went to Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center in Logan. Kaden loved it! However, he was more interested in playing in the animal's food and water than actually petting the animals.

He wasn't so sure about how the animals felt when he touched them. He would pull away really fast, laugh, and rub his hands together. It was cute.

There were baby bears from Yellowstone. Kaden pointed at them and said "bear." We were so proud! He thought it was soooo funny the bears were drinking bottles.

He loved riding the pony. If he had it his way, he would have rode the pony the entire time we were there.

We had fun playing with the cousins from Henderson, Nevada. We are glad they were able to come!

Easter

Happy Easter! We had Rob's Parents over for Easter Weekend. It was a lot of fun. Kaden loved finding eggs Easter morning. He loved eating all of his candy too.

Rob got an Easter present too. He is pretty excited about it. Kaden loves riding it. I cries at the garage door every day begging to go sit on the lawn mower. Our plan is to train him how to mow the lawn by age 8, then we won't have to do it! Ha Ha Ha!
